Job Bill of Materials – Presentation Report

The Job Bill of Materials – Presentation report allows you to generate the Bill of Material for multiple Jobs

  1. Open the library with reports.
  2. Select Job Bill of Materials – Presentation.
  3. Define criteria for generating the report, as follows:
    Job Select the Jobs which you want to generate the report for.
    Style Select the style for generating the report, as follows:

     

    • Summary – summary report listing all Cost Centers used in the Job.
    • Detail – detailed report listing all Cost Centers with Items and Components per each Cost Center.
  4. For each report, additional criteria for report generation may be applied, as follows:
    SUMMARY
    Show Zero Cost Centers Check the box to include the non-used Cost Centers into the report.
    Show Floor Area Check the box to show the floor area of the House.
    Show Contract Amount Check the box to show the contract amount.
    Show You can alter display of Cost Center % and Cost per ft2 or Supplier. Check the appropriate option.
    Show Date Time Check the box to show the date and time on the report.
    DETAIL
    Show Date Time Check the box to show the date and time on the report.
    All Cost Centers Check the box to include all Cost Centers into the report.
    New Page for each Cost Center Check the box to show each Cost Center on a new page.
    Show Item Code Check the box to show the Item code in the report.
    Show Money Amount Check the box to show the money amount per Unit of Measure.

  5. When complete, click Apply. The system generates the report.

For the Summary style, the report will look as follows:

The report shows the following information:

Cost CenterNumber and name of the Cost Center.
CostCost of the Cost Center in dollars. The zero cost Cost Centers can be excluded if the corresponding option was selected.
Cost PercentCalculated percent of the Cost Center cost against the total cost of the Job Estimate.
Cost per ft2Calculated cost per square feet/meter of the House.
SupplierName of the Supplier.

For the Detail style, the report will look as follows:

The report shows the following information:

ItemDescription of the Item or Component which may include the following:

 

  • Item or Component Code
  • Item or Component Name
QuantityQuantity of Items or Components in the Job Estimate.
Rate UoMCost of the Item or Component per Unit of Measure.
ExtensionCalculated extension of the Item or Component (Quantity multiplied by Unit of Measure). Additionally, total extension for the entire Cost Center is calculated.

The report also calculates the total cost of the Job Estimate based on the sum of all Cost Centers.
