The Profit on Finalized Jobs (YTD) report shows the profit on Finalized Jobs as of the selected month for a specific Franchisee Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the library with reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Profit on Finalized Jobs (YTD).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Define the criteria for generating the report, as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    Criteria<\/span><\/div>

    <\/p>
    For the Month of<\/strong><\/td> Select the month as of which the report will be generated. The system will generate the report starting from the beginning of the year and up to the selected month.<\/td> <\/tr>
    Include Not Proceeding Jobs<\/strong><\/td> Check the box to include the Jobs in the Not Proceeding state.<\/td> <\/tr> <\/tbody> <\/table>

    3. When complete, click Apply<\/strong>. The report is generated, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n

    Desired KPI targets for this report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Aiming to have Gross Profit at or around 20%<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Aiming to have Net Profit at or around 10%<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Remember to review expenses and variables on each finalized job <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Check that job expense accounts are not included in the report. Trading account and expenses account should be checked against the report for accuracy and more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To add or remove an account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Go into the Setup<\/strong> menu on the left hand side of the GJ Software and select System Variables<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Then select the Accounting<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Then select the Overheads Accounts tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Add a new account by clicking the icon in the top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The report shows the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Report Information<\/span><\/div>
        Month<\/strong><\/td>The reporting month.<\/td><\/tr>
        Turnover<\/strong><\/td>Turnover for the selected month.<\/td><\/tr>
        No<\/strong><\/td>Number of finalized Jobs per month.<\/td><\/tr>
        Gross Profit<\/strong><\/td>Gross profit per month.<\/td><\/tr>
        GP%<\/strong><\/td>Gross profit percentage.<\/td><\/tr>
        Overheads<\/strong><\/td>Overheads amount per month.<\/td><\/tr>
        O\/H%<\/strong><\/td>Overheads percentage. It is calculated as a ratio of the Overheads to Turnover.<\/td><\/tr>
        Net Profit<\/strong><\/td>Net profit per month.<\/td><\/tr>
