By Previewing it first, the system generates an editable version of the document, allowing you to make adjustments before it&#8217;s processed in the system.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\"><li>Click the link to <strong>Preview\/Edit link<\/strong> in the preview window. A Google Doc of the Home Construction Agreement will open up in a new tab. Edit the Document<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While editing the preview of the document there are several things to look for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Client Details:<\/strong> Make sure the client\u2019s name and address are correct. If there are two owners, confirm that both owners are represented on the document.<\/li><li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Review the Site Address where the home will be built. This in&nbsp; most cases should be different from the client\u2019s current place of residence.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Contract Price:<\/strong> Verify that the contract price is correct.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Deposits:<\/strong> Adjust the amounts for any pre-construction, Initial deposits, or preliminary works fees as needed.<\/li><li><strong>Checkboxes and fillable fields:<\/strong> If the document has any documents to indicate the type of financing or any other fillable information, replace it with the correct information.<\/li><li><strong>Draw Schedule:<\/strong> Check the draw schedule for accuracy by reviewing the <strong>Notes<\/strong> section and confirming draw criteria.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After all adjustments have been made, close out the contract preview and go back to the Builder Portal. The link to preview the document will still be available. Click the <strong>Confirm <\/strong>button below the link.
