You can manage Sales Tax Rates that can be further applied during the House cost estimation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. To manage Sales Tax Rates, on the navigational sidebar, select <\/span>Setup<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Once the Setup section expands, select <\/span>Estimating<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
  3. On the tabbed menu, select <\/span>Sales Tax Rates<\/b>.<\/span>\"\"<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Here you can see the list of Sales Tax Rates registered in the system. For each Sales Tax Rate the following information is available:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Name<\/b><\/td>A name of a Sales Tax Rate.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
    Rate, %<\/b><\/td>A percent rate of a Sales Tax Rate.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
    Default Rate<\/b><\/td>Mark that the Sales Tax Rate is used as default for house estimates.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    You can perform the following operations on Components:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • add new Sales Tax Rates<\/span><\/li>
    • edit the existing Sales Tax Rates<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Adding a Sales Tax Rate<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      1. Above the list with Sales Tax Rates, click the <\/span>Add \"\"<\/b> icon.<\/span>\"\"<\/li>
      2. In the <\/span>Create Sales Tax Rate<\/b> form, specify information about a Sales Tax Rate, as follows:<\/span>
        \n\n\n\n\n\n
        Name<\/b><\/td>\nEnter a name of a Sales Tax Rate.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
        Rate, %<\/b><\/td>\nEnter the percent rate of a Sales Tax Rate.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
        Set as Default Rate for House Estimates<\/b><\/td>\nCheck the box to use the Sales Tax Rate as default for house estimates.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>
      3. When complete, click <\/span>Save<\/b>.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        If you select the Set as Default Rate for House Estimates option, the system will show the confirmation form. Upon confirmation, the system will re-calculates all the current House Plan Estimates with a new sales tax.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Editing the Sales Tax Rate<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        1. On the list with Sales Tax Rates, locate the one you want to edit.<\/span><\/li>
        2. Hover over the Sales Tax Rate, until the action icons appear.<\/span><\/li>
        3. Click the <\/span>Edit\u00a0\"\"<\/b> icon.<\/span><\/li>
        4. In the <\/span>Edit Sales Tax Rate<\/b> form, make the appropriate modifications.<\/span><\/li>
        5. When complete, click <\/span>Save<\/b>.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
