Manual Journals allows you to move amounts between General Ledger accounts (aside from bank accounts).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In advanced <strong>settings<\/strong> are the following;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Financial Settings &#8211; Locked Dates<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Click here to see a related article about Locking dates in Xero.&nbsp; Add link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Financial Settings &#8211; GST Calculation Setup<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>GST setup is dictated by Financial Settings choices made and obligations to the Australian Tax Office. This should be done by your Accountant or bookkeeper and any changes discussed with them. Once this section is completed, you can choose to <a href=\"https:\/\/central.xero.com\/s\/article\/Activity-statements\">run your business activity statement (BAS)<\/a> from the reports menu.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A<a href=\"about:blank\">s with all statutory reporting please work with your Accountant &amp; Bookkeeper.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chart of Accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This area allows you to view and maintain your Chart of Accounts.
