{"id":364,"date":"2019-03-03T11:04:52","date_gmt":"2019-03-03T11:04:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/builder-help.gjgardner.com\/?page_id=364"},"modified":"2020-12-18T19:51:53","modified_gmt":"2020-12-18T19:51:53","slug":"house-plans","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"http:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/nz\/hc\/estimating\/price-books\/house-plans\/","title":{"rendered":"House Plans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can manage House Plans that are included into the Price Book.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can perform the following operations on House Plans:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">add House Plans into the Price Book<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">remove House Plans from the Price Book<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Adding House Plans into the Price Book<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the Price Book<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the tabbed menu, select <\/span><b>House Plans<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Above the list with House Plans, locate the <\/span><b>Add\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-247 alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/quote-add-icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"14\" \/><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> icon and click it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the <\/span><b>Find House Plans<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> form, select the House Plans you want to add into the Price Book.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To show Quick Quotes or Sales Estimates, move the corresponding toggle right.<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-365\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/find-house-plans-form.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/find-house-plans-form.png 800w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/find-house-plans-form-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/find-house-plans-form-768x576.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once selected, click <\/span><b>Add selected<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When complete, click <\/span><b>Process<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The selected House Plans will appear on the list with House Plans in the Price Book.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Removing House Plans from the Price Book<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the list with House Plans, locate the one you want to remove.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hover over the House Plan until the action icons appear.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <\/span><b>Remove<\/b>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-255 alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/remove-icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"10\" \/>\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">icon.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Confirm the removal of the House Plan from the Price Book.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When complete, click <\/span><b>Process<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Changing Parameters for an Individual House Plan<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the list with House Plans, locate the one which you want to Change.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select this House Plan. The panel will appear in the right part of the screen.<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-366\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/price-book-house-plan-default.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1758\" height=\"875\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/price-book-house-plan-default.png 1758w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/price-book-house-plan-default-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/price-book-house-plan-default-1024x510.png 1024w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/price-book-house-plan-default-768x382.png 768w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/price-book-house-plan-default-1536x765.png 1536w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/price-book-house-plan-default-1200x597.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1758px) 100vw, 1758px\" \/><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <\/span><b>Edit\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-188 alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/edit-icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" \/>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> icon.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Configure the parameters, as follows:<\/span><br \/>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><b>QQ Markup, %<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Enter the Quick Quote markup that is applied to the House Plan in case of creating a Quick Quote on its basis.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Overhead, %<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Enter the overhead percent that is applied to the House Plan.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Price Round Up, $<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Enter the round up value for prices of the House Plan.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Contingency, %<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Enter the contingency percent that is applied to the House Plan.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Profit, %<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Enter the profit percent that is applied to the House Plan.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Total, %<\/b><\/td>\n<td>The total percent is calculated automatically as a sum of all the parameters.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Calculated Price<\/b>, <b>$<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Resulting price that is calculated automatically<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Sales Price, $<\/b><\/td>\n<td>You can override the calculated price with the custom sales price you want.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Profit, $<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Profit is calculated automatically as a margin between the sales price and the cost.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Cost\/ft2, $<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Net cost per square foot. The system calculates it automatically.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Price\/ft2, $<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Price with markups per square foot. The system calculates it automatically.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>True Profit, %<\/b><\/td>\n<td>Profit percent when comparing to the net cost. The system calculates it automatically.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When complete, click <\/span><b>Apply<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Enabling Quick Quotes for House Plans<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the list with House Plans, locate the one which you want to enable Quick Quotes for.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select this House Plan. The panel will appear in the right part of the screen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <\/span><b>Edit\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-188 alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/edit-icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" \/><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> icon.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To allow Quick Quotes for the House Plan, select Allow QQ.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Showing the Hidden House Plans<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By default, the system hides all the House Plans that attributes to Quick Quotes or Sales Estimates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can show then by moving the corresponding toggle right.
