You can export prices of existing Items to an Excel file or to a Google Sheet. The Description and UoM columns in the Excel file will be ignored by the system during the import.<\/span><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Import Item Prices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can import prices of existing Items and update them in the system. The system will upload the selected the file and parse it. The system will do the following:\n<ol>\n<li>determine updated Items<\/li>\n<li>determine new Items<\/li>\n<li>determine Items with errors<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li><li>Switch between the tabs to select Items that you want to import into the system.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Note<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The system will reject any imported file if its file extension differs from *.XLSX.<\/span><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <strong>Updated Items<\/strong> tab, you can view Items which price was changed. For each Item, the following information is shown:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><b>Code<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Code of the Item.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>Current Price, $<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Current price in dollars of the Item.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>New Price, $<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New price in dollars of the Item from the imported Excel file.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>Variance, $<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price variance in dollars. It is calculated as a variance of the new price to the current price.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>Variance, %<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Percentage price variance. For each Item, the following information is shown:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><b>Code<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Code of the Item.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>Price, $<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price in dollars of the Item.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>UoM<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unit of Measure of the Item. The select box activates when you select the Item for importing. Select the Unit of Measure which applies to the Item.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>Sales Tax<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check the box to apply the sales tax to the Item. The check box activates when you select the Item for importing.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><b>Description<\/b><\/td><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Description of the Item. By default, the Item description is not imported from the Excel file. The system updates the Item Cost. \n<\/span>2. The system finds all Components where updated Items are used and initiates recalculation of the Component Cost.\n3.
