Access a Variations Price Book<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Log in to the Builder Portal<\/strong>.<\/li>
  2. Choose Estimating > Price Books<\/strong>.<\/li>
  3. Click;
    • The Row<\/strong> of the required Price Book to open,<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      – OR –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. The Edit<\/strong> icon to the right of the required Variations Price Book to open.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Hover over the row of the required Variations Price Book to display actionable icons; Clone, Application Event Log, Edit, and Delete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Check the Details of a Variations Price Book<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        1. At the opening page of the required Variations Price Book, check the following;
          • Price Book, <\/strong>name, amend as required,<\/li>
          • Release Date<\/strong>, confirm it is the correct Variations Price Book,<\/li>
          • Repriced<\/strong>, if date >6 months old, bring to the attention of the Franchise Owner \/ Operations Manager,<\/li>
          • Withdrawal<\/strong>, amend as required based on specific office policy,<\/li>
          • Usage<\/strong>, confirm it is the correct Variations Price Book.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
            1. At each of these pages of the required Variations Price Book, check the following;
              • Price Book<\/strong>;
                • Items & Components Defaults, amend as required.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                  \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

                  If any Defaults are amended and are required to be applied across the entire Variations Price Book, the Apply Default Markups function must be actioned, File > Apply Default Markups<\/strong>, following will be a request for an Authorisation Number, this can be provided by the GJ Gardner Homes Support Team, it must be done live as the Source Number is randomly generated each time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Items & Components<\/strong>;
                    • For the correct Cost Centres, amend as required,<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

                      Any active Cost Centre may be Added to a Price Book, however, only an empty Cost Centre may be Removed from a Price Book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      1. For the correct Items &\/or Components in the appropriate Cost Centres, amend as required,<\/li>
                      2. For any Deleted Items &\/or Components, amend as required,<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        It is considered best practice to have a $1.00 Item in each Cost Centre of the Variations Price Book to allow for unusual one-off Items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        1. For the correct Markup, %, Round Up, $, and Delete, %, amend as required.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                          1. Memo<\/strong>;
                            • For the correctness of any text, amend as required.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                              Reprice a Variations Price Book<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                              1. Choose File > Reprice<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                1. A warning message page will display.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                                  \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
                                  1. If ok to continue, click Yes<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                    Clicking Yes will proceed with any changes that have been made, and cannot be undone or rolled back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    Prices in the Variations Price Book will be updated with the current Items and\/or Components prices in the database, Setup > Estimating > Items<\/strong> and\/or Setup > Estimating > Components<\/strong>, along with the applicable Markup, %, Round Up, $, and Delete, %, either by default or by manual adjustment.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
