The app requires a Supervisor to be created as an employee on the <a href=\"http:\/\/intranet.gjgardner.com\">Intranet<\/a> and then links specific jobs that they have been nominated as the Supervisor for in the Builder Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting Started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, a user must be created in both the Builder Portal and the Intranet. Then they will need to be assigned to specific jobs before downloading the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create a User<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An employee contact must be created and then a user can be created for that contact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create an Employee Contact by clicking <strong>Contacts <\/strong>in the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Create New Contact<\/strong> button, complete all of the required information, and click <strong>Process<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a User by navigating to <strong>Setup &gt; Manager &gt; Users<\/strong> in the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete all of the required information, assign the relevant Office Role, select the <strong>Supervisor System Role<\/strong>, and click <strong>Process<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"772\" src=\"https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-1024x772.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7098\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-1024x772.png 1024w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-300x226.png 300w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-768x579.png 768w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-50x38.png 50w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-16x12.png 16w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-60x45.png 60w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor-100x75.png 100w, https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Create-Supervisor.png 1440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assign Jobs to the User<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, Supervisors will only see jobs that have been assigned to them. Because of this, it must be installed following the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> The app can only be downloaded via the Intranet and&nbsp;<strong>only <\/strong>via an iPad using iOS version 10.0.0 or later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Download &amp; Install<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using an iPad, log in to <a href=\"http:\/\/intranet.gjgardner.com\">http:\/\/intranet.gjgardner.com<\/a> using the username and password that were supplied when creating the account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Docs &amp; Files &gt; Supervisor App<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Click the red&nbsp;<strong>Download App<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When prompted by the iPad device, click the Install button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/install-ipad-app.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7105\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The iPad begins to download in the background. Click the Home button will display the installation progress of the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Trust&#8221; the Enterprise App<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the app has finished downloading and installing it must be verified as a trusted application in the device settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the iPad click the Settings icon. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>General &gt; Device Management &gt; THE GARDNER FAMILY TRUST NO 4<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Trust &#8220;THE GARDNER GAMILY TRUST NO 4&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Trust <\/strong>when prompted. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/help.gjgardner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/trust-enterprise-apps.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7106\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now the app can be accessed by using the users intranet log in details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Log In to the App<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After the app has been verified as a Trusted application, the Intranet username and password supplied when creating the user may be used to sign in. Please leave the screen open until all job details have downloaded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Install Google Apps (optional)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To allow Supervisors to send\/receive emails to clients from the app as well as reference Job Docs, from the job site it is recommended they download the official Gmail and Google Drive iOS applications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/gmail-email-by-google\/id422689480#?platform=ipad\">Gmail<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/google-drive\/id507874739#?platform=ipad\">Google Drive<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Log in with the supplied @gjgardner.co.nz credentials.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The iPad app is a mobile solution to help Supervisors complete construction checklists, record job-specific notes, and record client meetings.
