New placeholders added to system letter templates for Progress Payment Certificates and Invoices

What’s changing

We’re adding two new placeholders to provide more accurate information to clients:

  • $OfficeGST added to ARClmInv (NZ only)
  • $CurrentTotalClaimsAmountInclGst added to ARClmCertPC, ARClmCertCh, ARClmCertEs, and ARClmCertFn.

Who’s impacted 

$CurrentTotalClaimsAmountInclGst is available in all regions whereas $OfficeGST is only available to users in New Zealand.

Additional details

$CurrentTotalClaimsAmountInclGst is the sum of all claim invoices and variations including GST. This was added to Progress Payment Certificates to match the total plus variations displayed on claim invoices. Invoices must be authorised or paid (not a draft) in Xero to be calculated in this number.

$OfficeGST in New Zealand was previously only available on Progress Payment Certificates. This placeholder has also been added to the invoice letter template.

Getting started

There is no end-user setting for $CurrentTotalClaimsAmountInclGst. $OfficeGST can be modified under Setup > System Variables > Franchisee > GST.

These placeholders are available to be used today.
