How to attach a document to a Bill or Invoice.

Steps for attaching documents to a bill or Invoice in Xero. 

  1. Open the bill you want to attach documents to.
  2. Click the files icon.
  1. You can drag and drop files, click Add from file library or click Upload files to select files manually.
  1. If adding from file library or uploading file, find and select your documents, then click Add file or Open.

This will complete the process of adding the document file to the bill. Next to the file icon will be a number referencing how many documents are attached.

Note: With email-to-bill and other automated data entry programs, a copy of documents is automatically attached.
