Improvements to web lead creation
What’s changing
In June 2022 we introduced automatic web lead creation into G.J. Software. Today we released a handful of improvements to make it easier to manage leads created by the website sync integration.
- Set contact type to Individual if the web lead name contains more than one word.
- Copy web lead name to contact Addressee field.
- Add request types and contact referral sources for REA Leads, Domain Leads, Facebook, and Display Home Visitor and corresponding web lead validations.

All Franchises in Australia and the United States.
Why it matters
These changes make it much easier to find leads on the Leads Board.
Getting started
Masters: There is no admin control for these changes.
Franchises: You’ll notice this improvement automatically when you next log into the Builder Portal.
Availability
Available to all G.J. Software users with the necessary permissions to view leads.
Roadmap
In the September release we will update the format of the email notification that is sent for new leads to make it easier to read. In the coming months, we plan to introduce a handful of new changes to the CRM, including:
- Additional statuses to sales folders to indicate why a lead was lost for reporting and nurture campaigns.
- Turn Sales Folder Meetings into a more robust Activity Manager with greater Google Calendar control.
- Make it easier to navigate the leads list with additional search criteria, new columns, filters, and quick actions.
- Improvements to the Leads Board including adding a link to it in the sidebar menu, add a Create New Lead button, and add more search and filter criteria.
